Take a long, exaggerated inhale, open your mouth and let out a slow, deep exhale (like an audible sigh.)
Again: long inhale, sigh out the exhale.
Exhale as if all your work is done.

Yoga is an art and a science – the essence of yoga means yoking your breath, mind, and body to work together. Yoga is a fabulous, intuitive way to move and tone your body. Yet yoga is so much more than merely physical exercise.

At the end of each class, when I look at the faces before me, they are relaxed and blissful.

About Monika

Monika Lupean, ERYT-500, has been teaching for over 17 years and has completed more than 1,000 hours of training in different modalities.
Each class is designed specifically to best serve each individual in the class. Monika has extensive training and experience which allows her to gauge what each person specifically needs.

WHO WE ARE

Meditation is the new therapy

I love it when people tell me they cannot meditate, because their minds are constantly on the go. That is exactly WHY we meditate! Everyone’s mind is on that “hamster wheel,” cycling around and around and around.
Most of us identify with our busy minds. Your mind is not who you are – your mind is sort of a tape recording of everything you have ever heard, seen or thought.
Meditation is a tool to help you remember your own inner resources. At our core, we all have wisdom, peace and ease. During our busy lives, we all forget that we have these resources within us.

Deep Rest Yoga

Yoga Nidra

This practice is Deep Therapy for Body, Mind & Spirit. The entire session is spent lying down, propped up by pillows, bolsters and blankets. You won’t believe how comfortable and supported you will feel. It’s like a magnificent massage for body, mind & spirit. You will leave feeling Relaxed, Renewed and Refreshed!

The practice of Yoga Nidra is scientifically designed to release all of your tensions: muscular, emotional and mental. If you’ve never tried this unique practice, you have no idea what you are missing.
